Auto Drip Coffee Makers

Step 1: Clean your machine! Make sure your machine is clean and free of built-up debris by cleaning it with something like this.

Step 2: Use fresh, filtered water. You don’t want to use hard water as it will leave residue inside your machine. We recommend using bottled water or water you have filtered to ensure it is nice and soft!

Step 3: Grind your beans right before use. Did you know that after coffee has been ground, it loses about 60% of its aroma after 15 minutes? We recommend a medium coarse grind for auto-drip.

Step 4: We recommend using a 15 to 1 water to coffee ratio. That’s 15 grams of water to every 1 gram of coffee. We have found that translates to about 1 tablespoon of ground coffee for every number marking on your coffee pot. So if you fill your coffee pot to the 8 line with water, use 8 tablespoons of ground coffee in your brew basket.

Step 5: Add your ground coffee to the filter in the brew basket, start your machine and watch as you’re moments away from a great day!

*If your brew is too strong or not enough, adjust your grind size accordingly.
