Aponte Honey
Aponte Honey
Honey Aponte Caturra comes from smallholder farmers in the indigenous Aponte reserve of Nariño, Colombia, a community known for pioneering honey-processed coffees since 2017. With farms sitting between 1700–2100 meters and a naturally dry, cool climate, growers are able to slow-dry their coffees, creating layered, complex flavor profiles. These producers cultivate small plots of Caturra on rich volcanic soils and have mastered honey processing over the years, resulting in a cup that’s both delicate and vibrant. Expect notes of caramelized grapes, red berries, cocoa, and panela, reflecting both the land and the craft behind this microlot.
