El Naranjito Catuai has great acidity coming through as orange and cherry, followed by a long sweet finish and a creamy mouthfeel. Perfect for blend or single origin use, or a nice fruit sided espresso component.
About the Producer
“I grew up in Tegucigalpa working in construction until age 24, but I always felt drawn to the land. My life changed when my grandmother sold me two plots of coffee, sparking a journey that would define my future. For years, I struggled to maintain the farm from afar until I made the bold move to El Zurzular to care for it full-time. The transition was difficult—low coffee prices and limited experience often made me doubt myself—but seeing my coffee plants flourish reignited my passion. A visitor’s recognition of my coffee’s potential led to my first major sale and inspired me to expand. What began as a small 2-acre farm is now a thriving 30-acre plantation employing up to 50 people during harvest. My story is one of perseverance, love for the land, and the joy of helping my community grow alongside me.”
